This puzzle board is so much better than I thought it would be. I bought a felt roll up mat for puzzles a few years ago. It works but I was never enthusiastic about it.This board is fantastic! It is large to handle 1500 piece puzzles. That makes it a little cumbersome. So far I've been assembling sections on 1 of the 2 panels that are in included. The completed sections are easily slid off onto the board to be attached to rest of puzzle. The 2 panels sit on top of the puzzle in progress and help it stay in place. When board is set on a table, the side panels can be used to sort and assemble sections also. These sections have to be cleared for closing as they cover over the 2 panels that sit on the board. Then there are 2 flaps with velcro that have a strong adherence and a small center velcro tab that securely hold the board closed. I have not stored the board on end yet but everything seems to be tight enough that there might not be a problem. The puzzle board, when closed, is about 2' by 3' and it's been tilted as I move it around to work on and to put aside. So far no pieces have been disturbed from where I placed them.This board is very well made and so far has exceeded my expectations. Needless to say, it's a winner in my opinion and worth the price.
