This was going in classroom for added storage space on counter and it did the job!I ordered 3 of these. They were easy to assemble and I had no problems. The shelves were not plastic like some people described- more of a thin particle board, and I had no problem with splitting or cracking during the assembly process.Smaller than anticipated.When my product arrived and I opened the box, I found that all the corners of the panels were busted up and the wood was also cracked. There didn't appear to be much damage to the shipping box but I'm sure this happened in shipment. I contacted the seller about returning for a replacement and had the new one within a few days. It arrived all intact and was very easy to put together. My only complaint is that the trays move way too easy. I put papers out and the tray comes out with it. It works for what I need it for though.The shelves are not what is pictured. They do not have the front cut out that curves in that would make it easier to grab the stacks of papers. The shelves are a solid square shape. They also don't show that the shelves are held up by pegs that you have to pound into little holes. And, then the shelves slide in and out pretty easily. There is not a good place to label shelves either - I guess I should have seen that in the photos they showed. I've had a lot of different literature/paper holders and I would say this one is probably the cheesiest. The outside of frame of the shelving unit is pretty solid.It has a scary warning on the boxI ordered 2 of these wooden organizers for colored card stock! The organizers are a perfect size. Great quality!1st of all, I did not expect to have to build the thing. The exterior is lovely and very sturdy. However, the shelves are a corrugated plastic and useless. I expected, at the very minimum, press board. I will have to make sturdier shelves because the shelves as they are only hold about 20 sheets of paper without bowing. For the cost I expected a constructed piece with durable, unbendable shelves.
